In October, I just drew two Gorok-related pieces with oil pastels.
It doesn’t seem like I did that much art for September: just Tzah’quih from Jurak’s Day and a Mechanicha sketch. That is because the rest of it was practice or has already been shown! The already shown pieces of art are the maps I’ve made with Wonderdraft and the custom symbols I’ve made for those maps. The practice art has been of Humanoid heads, which I'm still pretty poor at.
As I indicated in my previous Wonderdraft post, I planned on continuing to make maps. And so I have. I’ve made maps for two more cities featured in my books: Waseth of Magaya and Karawu of Wolfen.
I've begun to make region maps using Wonderdraft. I started with Varpesh, which I was pleased with, and then did Shizar, which I was less pleased with. I'm excited to keep trying it out.
No art was done in June, and I only did one piece in July, so I combined July and August for this post. All the art done was for Jurak’s Day.
I collaborated with Aeris Total to write Serpents, Snakes and Chalices. Then Aeris Total had a story prompt I ran with and from it I wrote Gurgle and Hiss, which is related to the story we worked on together. Both are in their own strange world that is not at all related to my main world writing. They were both fun to write and I expect more will come out of this collaborative world. Hope you enjoy reading them!
